— tapioca world tour

personal stuff: I’m Audubon. I’m from Philly but have been in Boston for years. I really like clouds, videography, volunteering for Burmese rights orgs, early Marlon Brando films, kids, motorcycles, poetry, ice cream, international travel, human rights activism, and technology. I do a bit of filmmaking & mobile research, and I will be living in Berlin, Germany until 2013.

professional stuff: I was trained in writing & anthropology, but enjoy learning interactive communication and investigating/designing projects around mobile multimedia production. After day-jobbing in the human/labor rights arena for several years, I’ve ended my fourth year at MIT, where I got my masters degree in Comparative Media Studies and have been working as a research associate at the Center for Civic Media. Now I’m with EIT-ICT and Deutsche Telekom Labs as a research scientist and maintain a position as Research Affiliate for the CMS department of MIT.

contact: You can find me on Twitter/Skype/Gchat/AIM as pazonada, or send an email to audubon at tapioca dot tv. I embrace any and all opportunities for creative collaboration.
