personal stuff: I’m Audubon. I’m from Philly but have been in Boston for years & currently am in Savin Hill, Dorchester. I really like clouds, videography, volunteering for Burmese rights orgs, early Marlon Brando films, kids, motorcycles, poetry, green tea ice cream, international travel, human rights activism, and technology. My favorite color is orange. At present, my main goal is to finish my masters degree in 2010 and move to Berlin (or Ireland, Peru, Bhutan, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica or Serbia) and do some interesting work involving mobile technologies and international development. And filmmaking.

professional stuff: I was trained in writing & anthropology, but enjoy learning interactive communication, videography, photography, and all things new media. After day-jobbing in the human/labor rights arena for several years, I’m now at MIT, where I work as a research assistant at the Center for Future Civic Media (I also blog there) and am getting my masters degree in Comparative Media Studies.

contact: You can find me on Twitter/Skype/Gchat/AIM as pazonada, or send an email to audubon at tapioca dot tv. I embrace any and all opportunities for creative collaboration.
