— tapioca world tour

personal stuff: I’m Audubon. I’m from Philly but lived in Boston for years. I really like clouds, videography, volunteering for Burmese rights orgs, early Marlon Brando films, kids, motorcycles, poetry, ice cream, international travel, human rights activism, and technology. I do a bit of filmmaking & mobile research, and I am presently living and working in Berlin, Germany.

professional stuff: I was trained in writing & anthropology, but enjoy learning interactive communication and investigating/designing projects around mobile multimedia production. After day-jobbing in the human/labor rights arena for seven years, I spent 3.5 years at MIT, where I got my masters degree in Comparative Media Studies, worked as a research associate at the Center for Civic Media, and made tons and tons of mediocre ceramic bowls from the wonderful, heaven-sent MIT pottery studio. Now I’m with EIT-ICT Labs and Telekom Innovation Labs as a research scientist and maintain a position as Research Affiliate for the CMS department of MIT.

contact: You can find me on Twitter/Skype/Gchat/AIM as pazonada, or send an email to audubon at tapioca dot tv. I embrace any and all opportunities for creative collaboration.
